We went to the great wall today ! Wow what a sight. I had to stop several times and pretend to take pictures while i was catching my breath( o.k. maybe catching my breath is an understatement ) ha. I made it to the second watch tower and got a certificate saying i climbed the great wall. Of course i 'm sure i won't be able to get out of bed in the morning.
We toured the emperor's summer palace and gardens after the great wall. such an interesting collection of art work and paintings.The guides took us to a resteraunt and they brought out 10 different dishes and placed them on a large turntable in the center of the groups table. We tried to eat it all but they just kept filling the dishes back up! ( man i love the Chinese )
This evening we went down the street to the first hooters opened in china (opened last month). I didn't really want to go but i thought i should show support for an american company in a foreign land.ha The staff loved americans and the chinese chickens taste just like our american ones !
Tomorrow is the big day. We fly to Nanchang in the morning and get Ava at 4:00 pm china time(0300 mt.carmel time). It's hard to believe after this long wait she will be with us now forever! Dayne and Keagan will officially be big brothers. Keagan says he won't be the baby anymore, he'll be the middle child and the best part of an orio is the middle.ha ha
Well we are going to attempt to sleep and will post more tomorrow. We love you all. Dayne and Keagan we love you and miss you.
